Let us move

Day 01

Arrival in Islamabad
Arrive at Islamabad Airport, transfer to your hotel.After taking rest for a while we will visit the Faisal Mosque, Pakistan Monument, and Lok Virsa Heritage Museum.

Day 02

Taxila & Peshawar
Drive from Islamabad the ancient site Taxila city to its around 45 minutes drive. First of all we will visit Bhir Mond site and then we will move to explore the Museum. The Taxila Museum has got a lot of Buddhist era artifacts, sculptures, pottery, coins, Jewellery, Buddha Relics, coton tools, Pitchers. Further moving towards the ancient Julian site ,it’s a part of the ancient city of Taxila, is famous as a significant Buddhist monastic and university site and a prominent example of Gandhara art and architecture, located on a hilltop with a central stupa surrounded by chapels and monastic quarters. The important Artifact is healing Buddha at Julian, where pilgrims put their finger in the novel in the older time making a wish. Will move to Peshawar in the afternoon.

Day 3

Explore Peshawar City
Peshawar, with its rich history as one of the oldest continuously inhabited cities, offers tourists a plethora of attractions to explore. We will begin our tour with a visit to the historic Mahabat Khan Mughul Mosque, followed by a visit to the iconic Clock Tower, taking photographs along the way. Our next stop will be the Sethi House Museum, a remarkable architectural gem from the 19th century. This will be followed by lunch. In the afternoon, we will visit the Peshawar Museum, which boasts an impressive collection of Gandahara artifacts, including the Giant Buddha and Fasting Buddha. Later, we will arrive at the captivatin Qissa Khawani Bazar (story tellers market), renowned for its historical storytelling tradition in tea shops. We will savor green tea in the traditional Qehwa Khanas Tea Shop. This bazaar offers a wide range of shopping options. Subsequently, we will head towards Chitrali Bazar to admire the local handicrafts and caravanserais. Finally, we will conclude our tour at Namak Mundi Food street, where we will indulge in a delectable meal of lamb barbecue or Afghani Puloa. Overnight in Peshawar.

Day 4

Takht-e-Bahi & Swat
Drive to Swat Valley, with a stop at the Takht-e-Bahi Buddhist Monastery. At the onset of our journey, we will arrive at Takht-i-Bahi Monastery within a 1-hour  drive from Peshawar. This site, being one of the well-preserved Gandhara sites, will require ticket purchases, followed by an ascent up the stairs to reach the top, where photographs will be taken, and subsequently, our journey will proceed towards Swat via the Chakdara motorway, with lunch served at Takht-i-Bahi. During our journey, we will stop by Singerdara Stupa, near Barikot Mingora, a Stupa from 3rd century , and then proceed to visit Ghalgai rock sculpture, conveniently located beside the road, both of which are closely tied to the Buddhist era. Overnight in Swat.

Day 5

Swat Valley Exploration
We will begin the day while visiting Swat Museum. The Museum displays numerous Gandharan artifacts, including stone, stucco sculptures of Buddha, narrative friezes, coins, reliquaries, seals, and jewellery, reflecting the ancient Gandhara civilization. The collection also includes pre Buddhist artifacts and an ethnographic gallery showcasing traditional Swati furniture, clothing, and other cultural items. Further we will proceed towards Buddhist sites Butkara 1 & Butkara both are an important Buddhist archaeological site known for its Great Stupa that was enlarged in five successive stages from the 3rd century BCE onward. After exploring these sites we will move towards saidu stupa, this is also one of the most impressive site for Buddhist beliefs. Around afternoon we will pay a short visit to Murguzar white palace,the Ex. King of swat residence.

Day 06

Explore Jahan abad Buddha / Malam Jabba
Commencing early in the morning, our excursion will take us to the famous Jahanabad Rock Buddha, located a mere 40-minute drive from Mingora city. As we arrive, the Rock Buddha carving will unveil its remarkable beauty,tge best view to take pictures & and witness the glorious Buddh image carved in a rock. Our next destination will be the breathtaking Malam Jabba valley, characterized by its lush green landscapes and invigorating climate. We will return to Mingora in the afternoon.

Day 07
Early morning we will drive back to Islamabad through Chakdara Motorway. A Journey of almost four hours.

Transfer to Islamabad Airport for your departure.
